Expert Talk: On October 21st 2024, An Expert session was organized by School of Pharmacy, RK University, at SOS Seminar hall, titled "Ensuring Drug Efficacy: A Deep Dive into BA/BE Studies." Bioavailability (BA) and Bioequivalence (BE) studies play a crucial role in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in drug development, regulatory approval, and market competitiveness. They help ensure regulatory compliance, reduce development costs, maintain drug efficacy, and facilitate both domestic and international market entry. The lecture was delivered by our 2017 Alumini Ms. Disha Patel, she has been making great strides as a Clinical Research Associate at Lambda Therapeutic Research, Ahmedabad for the past 3 years working closely in clinical trials and research. Additionally, she honed her Clinical Skills & has spent 1.5 years in serving as a Junior Pharmacist at Civil Hospital, Wakaner. Students of MPharm, Bpharm and Pharm D attended the session. We are grateful to Director Dr. Pravin Tirgar for their support and guidance. Entire event was coordinated by Ms. Ishita Zalavadiya and equally supported by Mr. Tejas Ganatra, Ms. Anjali Patadiya & Mr. Udit Trivedi for the smooth execution.
