School of Pharmacy, RK University organized a field educational visit at Primary Health Center (PHC), Gadhaka, Rajkot for better understanding of the concept of community pharmacy and role of Pharmacist in PHC.

The PHC-Gadhaka is accredited by National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) is a constituent board of Quality Council of India.

Dr. Hardik Patel, Chief officer, Gadhaka – PHC and Dr. Dhruvi Pandya took a session to our students of 7th Sem B. Pharm – Practice school (Pharmacology) and 3rd Year Pharm D and explained to them about the functioning of PHC, Role of Pharmacist in PHC, Immunization Programme and various government initiatives to promote health care at village level.
