School of Pharmacy, RK University, Rajkot organised a workshop on “Role of Pharm D in Indian Health Care” on 30th and 31st January 2023 under the Center for Professional Development, RK University. Workshop was conducted by Dr. Karthik Rakam (Pharm D) who is CEO and cofounder of Avenida Health Care and Innovations, Hyderabad.

The outcome of this workshop is to make familiar the Pharm D students about elements of case study, set up of clinical pharmacy in hospital, various tasks associated with clerkship activities, research projects and internship

The event was organised by Dr Kushal Parekh,Ms. Kajal Kalaria and Dr Dhruvi Patel.

School of Pharmacy signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Avenida Innovation,Hyderabad. The company offers clinical practices,hospital training and placement offers to Pharm D students. Hopefully, our students will be able to obtain significant benefits from this MoU. The MoU was signed by both parties with due consideration and agreement between Dr. Pravin Tirgar, Director, School of Pharmacy, RK University and Dr. Karthik Rakam,CEO and Cofounder of Avenida Health Care and Innovation,Hyderabad.
