With the Objective to make students aware about their professional duties as well as get updated with current and rapidly changing scenario of Pharmacy Field, to prepare future pharmacists ready for upcoming future challenges and to establish professional values among all the students, Pharma Health Club, School of Pharmacy, RK University celebrated World Pharmacists Day on 25th of September 2023.

The Grand celebration was held on 25th of September, 2023 with Various activities associated with the Pharmacy field like Pharma Treasure Hunt, Elocution, Marketing, Drama & Quiz competitions were organized keeping the FIP Theme “Pharmacy Strengthening health systems” in the centre of celebration. The event was graced by Dr. Amit Lathigara, Honourable Vice-Chancellor, RK University, Mr. Sugam Sureja Director, Founder and owner of Angel Biogenics as a chief guest, Dr. Chetan Detroja, Controller of Examination, RK University. As a part of a strong Alumni culture, several alumni were also present as judges of various events, namely Ishita Chotaliya, Entrepreneur Biosash Business Pvt Ltd, Rajkot, Gujarat, India; Mr Lalji Sakariya, Khodal Medical Store owner, Mr Ghanshayam Kamani, Entrepreneur, Ms. Shweta Radadiya, Pharmacist at Urban Health Centre and Ms Urvisha Rathod. Students showcased their enthusiasm, talent and inner instinct to be ready for a healthier tomorrow.

The function was concluded by a felicitation ceremony followed by Pharmacists Oath & national anthem. More than 100 students were present on this auspicious occasion…
