School of Pharmacy, R.K University students have participated in Yuva Pragati-USA youth Wellness camp organized by Sister Nivedita Foundation-Rajkot (For Sister Nivedita School on Wheels students.) In this Wellness camp they went at Aashram schools of villages near Rajkot. Their team includes different Pediatrician, Dentist, Physicians, Pharmacist, Nurses and helpers. Youth wellness camp was organized for 5 days from 28th January to 1st February at different places like Bogharavader (Jasdan), Vangadhra (Jasdan), Bhimora (Chotila)Sayla and Kuvadava. In this camp duties of our participant were to create awareness about the toxic things like tobacco and smoking to the children’s, to increase the learning ability and physical strength of the children by providing hygienic and developmental surrounding, to provide basic day to day requirement (e.g. Bed, Water facility) to economically lacking school authority and to improve the lives and overall wellness of impoverished children in India with a focus on providing basic and sustained resources for children’s development and future success.
