School of Pharmacy, RK University celebrated World Pharmacists Day 2025 with a series of impactful events that brought together knowledge, innovation, and community awareness. The celebration commenced with the launch of the Drug Information Centre (DIC) under the theme “Know Your Medicines, Protect Your Health,” aimed at providing patient counselling, guidance on safe medication practices, and spreading awareness about drug safety and interactions. Adding to this, a panel discussion on “Molecules, Markets & Mindset: Decoding Pharmapreneurship” was organised, where distinguished industry leaders Mr. Jagdish Tarapada (ERVA Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Ankit Anadkat (Misti Herbal Remedies), and Dr. Chetan Detroja (Sarthi Pharma) shared their insights on innovation, entrepreneurship, and the evolving role of pharmacists in today’s healthcare ecosystem.

The celebration was further enriched with expert talks, student-driven activities, and competitions, all designed to encourage participation and highlight the indispensable contribution of pharmacists to society. By aligning with the global theme “Think Health, Think Pharmacist,” these initiatives not only emphasized the importance of pharmacists as healthcare professionals but also inspired students to embrace their role as future leaders, innovators, and caregivers in the pharmaceutical sector.
